HTA Says Aloha to the New Boss

The Hawaii Tourism Authority has named Mike McCartney its new President and CEO in a unanimous vote. McCartney will leave his position as Executive Director of the Hawaii State Teachers Association and replace interim President and CEO Lloyd I. Unebasami on April 6. Among his many qualifications, McCartney has served on the State Senate for 10 years and is a former chair of the Hawaii Tourism Authority.
