Loews to Purchase Renaissance Hollywood Hotel

Loews Hotels & Resorts will buy and rebrand the Renaissance Hollywood Hotel in Los Angeles. Once the deal takes effect on June 16, the 632-room hotel will become Loews Hollywood Hotel. The company is also planning a $26 million renovation of the property, which will remain open during the work, to begin later this year.  Offering views of the famous Hollywood sign, the hotel first opened in 2001 as part of the Hollywood & Highland Center shopping complex. It features 48,000 sq. ft. of meeting space. prnewswire.com
