To ensure your event is most productive, successful and especially enjoyable, we present this information to assist you in taking full advantage of all Phoenix Convention Center has to offer. It will help you through the preplanning process as well as clarify any questions you may have regarding our building, policies and procedures.
Audio-Visual Services
Phoenix Convention Center and AV Concepts, our in-house supplier of all audio, video and lighting services, can ensure that your event is seen in the right light and that no voice goes unheard.
Rigging Services
AV Concepts is Phoenix Convention Center's preferred supplier of rigging services and is exclusively responsible for the review and approval of all plans for the installation of rigging points or similar attachments to the building. Each point of fifty pounds or more will be charged at the prevailing rate. Please see Equipment Rental Services for cost information. Bridled points are considered as one point. Final determination for any rigging concerns will be made by the Phoenix Convention Center Production Services Manager. If your decorator does not have a qualified rigging staff, contact AV Concepts for all your rigging needs.
Utilities Services
If it's water, power or even compressed air you need, we can provide it. Temporary hookups for exhibits and displays are provided exclusively by Commonwealth, our in-house utilities contractor. Halls are arranged on a 15' x 15' utility grid system. There are some utility restrictions in the meeting rooms and portions of Exhibit Hall C.
Electrical: 120 Volt, A.C. single phase, 60 cycle; 208 Volt, A.C. three phase, 60 cycle; 208 Volt A.C. single phase, 60 cycle; and 480 Volt, A.C. three phase, 60 cycle.
Compressed Air: 125 psi to 150 psi.
Water Supply and Drainage: 80 psi.
Natural Gas: Very limited; equipment must be UL listed.
