Bureau Services
The San Mateo County CVB is a full-service Bureau. We offer convention site selection, official San Mateo County publications and maps, site inspection arrangements, local supplier contact information, suggestions on things to do and see in the area and photographs. We have full-time staff dedicated to making your meeting perfect.

Transportation
With San Francisco International Airport in the heart of San Mateo County and public and private transportation available all over the San Francisco Peninsula, getting around couldn’t be easier. BART, CalTrain and SamTrans can provide you with all your public transportation needs. We also offer executive transportation and many tour operators to choose from.

What's Distinctive?
Cow Palace is an extremely flexible, major multi-purpose event/convention facility with over 300,000 square feet of meeting and exhibit space. Home of the Grand National Rodeo and host to the San Francisco Flower & Garden Show, Golden Gate Kennel Club Dog Show, Exotic Erotic Ball and Disney on Ice. The facility's versatility is showcased by the concerts, trade shows, religious and political conventions, sporting events and countless other events that have taken place within its grounds. Permanent arena seating for 10,339 can be expanded to a maximum capacity of 16,500 each with an unobstructed view. Huge freight entrances can accommodate most trucks and deliveries.

San Mateo County Event Center offers over 200,000 square feet of indoor exhibit space with parking for over 6,000 cars. The campus-like atmosphere is a draw for consumer and trade show producers, as is its convenient location near the intersection of the County’s two main highways. An outdoor stage area offers planners an opportunity to create outdoor exhibits. A new meeting pavilion offers 6,500 sq feet of enclosed, carpeted, air-conditioned meeting space for conferences and catered banquets for up to 400 seated guests.

The South San Francisco Conference Center is a state-of-the-art facility known for its technological excellence, on-site culinary capabilities, and light-drenched atrium lobby.Conveniently located between the San Francisco International Airport and San Francisco, it is preferred by meeting planners seeking maximum value along with flawless precision.

Bay Meadows Race Track offers several options for meeting space.The spacious Kyne Room accommodates up to 50 persons in a private and quiet setting.There are also various settings for meetings such as the Director’s Room and the Gallery.

Computer History Museum provides fascinating displays and award-winning architecture and is equipped to hold all kinds of meetings, from elegant black-tie galas to colorful theme parties to business meetings. The Museum offers one of two rooms, or the nearly 119,000 square foot facility may be rented.

Coyote Point Museum allows groups to meet in the midst of environmental exhibits.The museum and the surrounding grounds offer a unique setting for meetings.Three rooms (classroom, theater, and resource room) are available for conferences and receptions.

Cypress Meadows offers spacious, well lit meeting areas with outdoor spaces and fantastic view. Located on nine acres adjacent to the Fitzgerald Marine Reserve, Cypress Meadows is just a thirty minute drive from San Francisco and less than an hour from Silicon Valley. Main meeting room is 1,290 square feet and can accommodate 85 people.

Domenico Wines offers a lovely winery location that will create a lasting impression for your guests. The Tasting Room has an elegance and charm which adds the perfect ambiance to any event. Your guests will be surrounded by French Oak barrels and will feel as if they have been swept away to an Italian winemaking villa.

Elkus Ranch Conference Center is nestled in the rolling hills and canyons five miles south of Half Moon Bay.This 4,400 square-foot educational and day conference facility with a commercial kitchen is available for conferences, off-site meetings, workshops and training.Conference room will accommodate up to 150 people, the boardroom up to 10 guests.

Fox Theater in Redwood City opened in 1929 and has recently undergone a complete restoration which, while preserving the historic architecture of the building, has installed state-of-the-art audio/visual equipment to make it a perfect venue for any special event.It is ideally suited for concerts, theatrical performances, company meetings, sessions, seminars, product unveilings, movie releases, shows, weddings and special events.The auditorium, including the balcony, has a maximum capacity of 1,460.

Hiller Aviation Museum offers exhibits highlighting the past, present and future of aviation, this is a truly unique setting for your special event. There are two conference rooms, as well as an atrium and an exhibit gallery. All of the rooms can be used in a combination for most events.

Kohl Mansion, a beautiful Tudor mansion,is available for rental for private functions such as corporate meetings and events, weddings, parties, photo shoots and filming.

Pacific Athletic Club is conveniently located on the Mid-Peninsula. The Club offers a refined, professional and exquisite setting for corporate meetings and seminars, as well as corporate picnics, weddings and social events. Offers exclusive on-site catering and a sizable facility that can accommodate groups and parties up to 400 people.

Ralston Hall, an Italian villa, is a national historic landmark built in the 1860’s.Ralston Hall may be rented for corporate meetings, special events, weddings, filming and photo shoots.

Red & White Fleet offers private and corporate boat charters. Hosting your special event aboard one of Red & White's charming Cruise Boats is the key to a successful party. Our boats are designed for groups of 100 to 300 people and allow for spectacular views of the bay, no matter what time of day your affair will be.

San Mateo County History Museum is a perfectly charming setting whether planning a wedding, a corporate event or a private party.The historic old courthouse is also available for rent at the museum.The landmark building, with its beautiful interior, rotunda, and jewel-like, stained glass dome is a perfect setting for any function.

Thomas Fogarty Winery and Vineyards reception facility is an ideal spot for corporate conferences, retreats and weddings.Accommodating up to 250 people, the reception building, the tasting room, conference facility, redwood banquet room and covered terrace are each available, depending on your specific requirements.

USS Hornet Museum is a former aircraft carrier. Guest speakers, teambuilding, interactive games, pyrotechnics and air shows can be arranged. Located less than 30 minutes from downtown San Francisco by bus or ferry. The USS Hornet is a National Historical Landmark and is one of the most decorated ships in naval history. It is available for corporate entertaining, trade shows, dances, and a variety of special events. Sit-down dinners can hold up to 3,000 people.

Quadrus Cafe and Conference Center is nestled on a lushy landscaped hilltop and displays one of the finest private art collections in the country. Only one meeting per room per day. Your meetings run as long as they need to, at no extra charge. A discrete and experienced staff accommodates any size meeting for any length of time.

Virginia City Rail Corporation offers a full service private rail charter and is a coporate events production company.
