The legacy of Caesars Entertainment first began in 1937 with the opening of Harrah’s Bingo Club in Reno, Nevada. A decade later, Bugsy Siegel opened the Flamingo Hotel and Casino, which became the first casino on the Vegas strip and was purchased by Caesars in 1998. But over the last 85 years, Caesars Entertainment has since become the largest hotel and casino operator following the over $17 billion acquisition by Eldorado Resorts in 2020 and has since continued to grow, adding properties, restaurants and expanding meeting venues.
Caesars Entertainment now operates 52 properties in the U.S., Canada and Dubai and includes 26 brands. Planners can enjoy a streamlined process that articulates to an extraordinary attendee experience featuring luxury amenities, top-notch dining experiences, a wide variety of entertainment, and of course, ample space to meet.
Where to Meet
While all properties in the Caesars Entertainment portfolio include meeting spaces, the company’s crown jewel for gathering is Caesars Forum. This world-class meeting facility includes the two largest pillarless rooms in the world, each measuring 110,000 sq. ft., two 40,000-square-foot ballrooms, an outdoor plaza, and numerous breakout rooms, all spanning a total of 550,000 sq. ft. of flexible space.
Planners can count on in-house services for creative and inclusive menus designed by the Caesars Forum catering team led by Director of Culinary Operations Eric Vaughn and AV support provided by Encore. In addition, planners have direct access to 8,500 hotel rooms at nearby Harrah’s Las Vegas, The LINQ, and Flamingo Hotel.
Caesars Palace across The Strip is supported by a dedicated catering staff that can provide meetings with everything from snacks to lavish cocktail parties. Options extend far beyond catering with 10 different on-site restaurants spanning the culinary gamut from the legendary Bacchanal Buffett to Pronto by Giada for a quick snack or glass of wine.
The gilded facility features the Conference Center consisting of two 51,000-square-foot pillarless Octavius and Julius ballrooms that can accommodate up to 5,555 guests each, the 4.5-acre Garden of the Gods Pool Oasis, four smaller ballrooms, numerous break-out rooms, totaling 300,000 sq. ft. of meeting space. Caesars Palace is also home to the 4,100-seat Coliseum, equipped with one of the world’s largest LED screens.
Where to Stay
With over 50 locations in North America and Dubai, finding a bed to rest your head with Caesars isn’t all that challenging. Caesars has locations across 17 states in the U.S. including Arizona, California, Colorado, Florida, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Louisiana, Maryland, Mississippi, Missouri, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania and Virginia, allowing planners to provide the same vibrant experience they would in Las Vegas without the lengthy travel and include gaming casinos and hotels, lifestyle hotels—all with luxury amenities.
For planners on the West Coast, Caesars provides over 1,000 rooms at Harrah’s Resort Southern California in Ione with 72,000 sq. ft. of flexible meeting space. Of course, Southern California is only a stone’s throw from Las Vegas where Caesars has a dozen properties well suited for groups of any size.
A partnership between the entertainment agency founded by Jay-Z, Roc Nation, SL Green Reality Corp., and Caesars Entertainment could lead to the construction of Caesars Palace Times Square at 1515 Broadway. The project is expected to draw an estimated seven million additional visits to the tourist destination.
Wine and Dine
One thing planners and attendees won’t struggle to find at any Caesars property is an amazing place to eat. One of the latest culinary ventures to greet hungry guests is Ramsay’s Kitchen, located at Harrah’s Las Vegas Hotel and Casino in November and the sixth restaurant the celebrity chef has opened on a Caesars property. It features elevated dishes and atmosphere that pays homage to Gordon Ramsay’s humble beginnings.
This new addition adds just one more restaurant to Caesars Entertainment’s astonishing list of fine dining establishments quartered by the brand. Perhaps you’ve heard of Chef Nobu Matsuhisa or at least one of his Nobu restaurants, but chances are you’ve seen him if you’ve ever watched Martin Scorsese’s 1995 film Casino, in which the chef plays a cameo role as a high-rolling gambler who scores big only to be immediately suckered out of his winnings by his host played by his real-life friend Robert DeNiro. Nobu at Caesars Palace offers the opportunity to dine in an elegant setting and enjoy unique Japanese fusion dishes with a local flare, serving up a true culinary jackpot.
Perhaps your attendee’s pallets call for something more in the traditional vein of fine dining, in which case Martha Stewart’s The Bedford is in order. Located in Paris Las Vegas, The Bedford serves French-inspired cuisine transporting guests to Martha’s famed country farmhouse (built as a replica of her actual 1925 farmhouse) and features classic dishes such as steak tartare, oysters Rockefeller, bouillabaisse with lobster, halibut, snapper, mussels and rouille or the prime bone-in ribeye.
Experiences
Caesars is an entertainment company first-and-foremost. In addition to gaming, properties afford access to Formula 1’s first Vegas race slated for November 2023, exciting residencies at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace, including Garth Brooks/Plus ONE starting in 2023.
