Just about all of us have registered complaints with hotel staff over the years, and we like to think that we’ve been reasonable. Many of us have also overheard other guests voicing some pretty strange grievances. –The bed sheets are too white.
–The sea is too blue.
–There’s cheese on the cheese platter.
–The ice cream is too cold.
–Locks haven’t been changed on conference room doors, which raises the risk of alien invasion.

–My dog didn’t enjoy his stay.
–The hotel (in London) had no ocean view.

–The mother of the groom wasn’t given the honeymoon suite.
–The bed is too high; I would like to have the legs cut off by one foot.
