Premium-cabin fliers on United Airlines will get the chance to enjoy a whole new dining experience beginning Feb. 1, according to yahoo.com when the airline elevates everything for United First and United Business customers.
United will also expand North America premium-cabin meal service to include flights of at least 800 miles.
New entrees will be inspired by cuisine in its hub cities, including lobster macaroni and cheese and side of broccoli rabe; and chicken and sausage jambalaya with white rice and green onions.
Other changes include the addition of new breakfast breads on short flights in the morning.
On flights shorter than four hours, meal flights will include a variety of breakfast choices (French toast souffle, fresh fruit and Greek yogurt), and new dinner selections (tandoori chicken) to replace current sandwich options.
There will also be new multi-course meal service on transcontinental and Hawaii flights.
United will also continue to offer premium-cabin customers Prosecco sparkling wine and the airline's signature warmed nuts.
