The new $3.5 billion Baha Mar Resort in Nassau, the Bahamas, reported on Thursday that it will begin hosting guests at three of its four properties on March 27.
Baha Mar Casino & Hotel will provide a 100,000-square-foot Las Vegas style casino and 1,000 guest rooms. SLS LUX will have 300 guest rooms and Rosewood at Baha Mar will offer 200 guest rooms. Grand Hyatt at Baha Mar, which will open shortly thereafter, will have 700 guest rooms.
The complex also will offer more than 200,000 sq. ft. of flexible convention facilities, including a 2,000-seat entertainment venue. Other amenities include TPC at Baha Mar, a Jack Nicklaus Signature golf course; art galleries featuring Bahamian art; more than 40 restaurants, bars and clubs; luxury designer and local artisan boutiques; an Espa spa; and beach and pool areas, including a beachfront sanctuary with native Bahamian flora and fauna.
