This is the time of year when we celebrate the hospitality partners who help us receive our guests at meetings all over the world. We asked our readers to name the hotel, association and technology partners who helped make the magic happen in 2019. Then we asked these welcoming souls for the three words that define hospitality for them, their daily motivation and their proudest achievement. From the visionaries who are, literally, inventing new ways to bring people together to the industry leaders and doers who make it happen every day, almost all were laser focused on creating memorable experiences.
Our cover supplier, Don Welsh, leads an association dedicated to helping event professionals access local resources and find solutions in a changing landscape. His story inspired me and I hope it gives you a better idea of what is possible when we work together.
