A keynote speaker who uses magic to inspire his audience. For 18 years, Nash Fung worked as a professional magician by day and a crisis line volunteer by night. This unique journey taught him many meaningful lessons on creativity, empathy and human connections. As a keynote speaker,

Proudest Moment: Professionally, it was my TEDx talk journey. Just like a magic trick where the audiences see the magic but not the thousands of hours of practice; my audiences might see an inspiring 13-minute speech, but behind the scenes it was actually a six-year journey that included multiple rejections from TEDx, countless hours of refining every word in the talk, and not giving up. But hey, the harder the journey, the more rewarding the end, right? 🙂 Personally: Seeing how my two children treat everyone with kindness and selflessness. They are kind of my world <3.

Take Aways: Compassion always wins. I inspire leaders to create a supportive and empathetic culture and ultimately it all comes down to having a core desire to care for each other. I hope my attendees will take this mantra with them not only back to their offices, but perhaps permeate it into their personal lives as well.

Need to Know: It will be fun 🙂 Event productions can have many unexpected surprises. But that’s ok, I’ll always keep a positive outlook and approach. Roll with the punches and keeping a smile is my vibe. After all, it’s not like we are operating brain surgery, so let’s have fun (Not saying brain surgeons do not have fun).

Three-time Amazon #1 bestselling author with a master’s degree in creativity and change leadership, innovation consultant and international award-winning event producer, veteran actor/director of live theatre, film and television. My philosophy: education can (and should) be entertaining and fun!

Proudest Moment: Following a presentation that I gave at a corporate event, a legendary CEO from the entertainment industry (I’ll spare you the namedrop) found me at the back of the ballroom, pulled me aside with a firm grasp of my arm, locked eyes with me and said, “I’ve been to a million of these things, and that was the best presentation I have ever seen.” As if that was not enough to make me feel 10-feet tall, I was speaking at another conference about a year later, and that same CEO was in attendance. I saw him across the room at the opening event but did not approach, assuming he would not recall our first encounter. Then, he saw me and made a beeline in my direction, a smile on his face, his arm enthusiastically extended for a firm handshake as he gleefully said, “I remember you! I still think about some of the things you shared on that stage last year.” Knowing that you have made a lasting impact on someone is the greatest gift that any speaker could hope for.

Take Aways: I want everyone to learn something new. It could be a skill, a technique, a process or a mindset, but I want each attendee to walk away with novel ideas they can implement in their lives immediately. I have no desire to stand before an audience and take them through a highlight reel of my life and career, pretending to humblebrag. My presentations are not about me; they are about the audience. It is my deep desire that every individual find the courage to be bold. My role is that of a catalyst, providing tools and guidance, and helping my audience find the mettle to achieve their most significant goals and make their dream scenarios a reality.

Need to Know: I am a professional. I never show up late for rehearsals or soundchecks. I treat everyone involved in the production with respect—the client, the planners, the A/V team, the stage managers, the catering staff—everyone! I do my research on your organization, the goals of the event and the demographics of your audience months in advance so that I can customize my presentation to suit everyone’s needs. I bring positive energy and lots of it!

I help people discover how to be MORE valuable than they already are. This is done as the keynote speaker and often will combine as the conference emcee to bring the one-of-a-kind continuity, energy and theme throughout the conference or event. It’s a gift and responsibility to be on your stages at 1,500 events and 200 industries and have the fortune of meeting YOUR attendees. I love our industry.

Proudest Moment: Overall, I’m proud of the ongoing relationships with my client/partners as it extends far beyond the stage as partners and friends in this great industry. A recent very proud moment?  When I learned that even after being the conference emcee for FICP annual conf for 5 years, I came back as the #1 rated item of the entire conf. (even beating out the amazing island location) and THAT audience is all planner and hospitality partners. That meant the world to me as we put so much effort into the concept and outcomes to create the amazing experience for our attendees.

Personally: Being able to do “take-your-daughters-to-work-days” and have them join me on this incredible journey and get to meet the partners and clients that I tell them about. They get to experience the real world.

Take Aways: The empowering gift of “amazement.” This feeling isn’t just for spontaneous moments or magicians on grand stages. You can create “Moments of Amazement” that have a profound impact on those you serve—your customers, partners, culture and even family. As a result, you’ll feel more valuable, deliver more value and be more engaged in life.

Need to Know: I’m me . . . on and off stage and I love what I get to do. Our relationship isn’t a one-and-done, it’s a partnership to serve our common client . . . our audiences, stakeholders and even stock holders to help them succeed and feel valuable. Together we will have an enjoyable process together making that happen.

Proudest Moment: My proudest moments as a speaker are when someone comes up to me after a presentation and tells me about the dream they were inspired to pursue. Whether it’s a book they’re finally going to write, a class they’re going to take, a business they’re going to start or an idea they’re going to bring to their boss, I love it when my talk is the catalyst for someone else to take that first step.

Take Aways: I hope attendees walk away with a sense of possibility for their lives, and an understanding that they have far more creative potential than they know. I want people to realize (or remember!) how malleable the world around them truly is, and to understand that if they have a vision for how the world could be better, different, or just a little bit weirder, they have the power to make that vision reality.

Need to Know: I love my job and I am incredibly grateful to the people that continue to let me do it. I know some speakers can be divas about the details of working together (no green M&Ms!) but I pride myself on being easy to work with. I work very hard to be good onstage, and I want people who see me to say, “That was the best talk I’ve ever seen.” But I also want the AV crew, the meeting planner, and anyone else who interacted with me offstage to walk away saying “You know what? Kyle is a nice guy. He was pleasant, kind and easy to work with.” If there’s anything I can do to make your job easier, let me know.
