InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG)’s boutique brand, Hotel Indigo will launch a new food and beverage philosophy that encourages local food and drink artisans to partner with the property and showcase the best the community has to offer in their hotels. The pilot program originally launched at Hotel Indigo, Kensington will now be offered at every new hotel starting this spring.
Hotel Indigo was initially designed with a native concept that reflects its surrounding neighborhood from the building to the hotel’s artwork, and partnering with local food artisans extends the brands essence to be a dynamic part of the community.
IHG is also incorporating a search for the best food vendors, producers or artisans to raise awareness of the new Hotel Indigo food and beverage philosophy. The “Flavours of the Neighbourhood” search is scheduled to run through February and participants can enter by uploading details about their products on the Hotel Indigo Facebook page. Winners will be featured in a photo-shoot for Hotel Indigo’s local foodie guide.
