Palm Beach County Convention Center will finally have the meeting partner it needs when the new $127 million Hilton opens Jan. 27. The hotel and convention center will be connected via an enclosed walkway. Hilton’s convenient location also is near CityPlace plaza, The Raymond F. Kravis Center for the Performing Arts and popular Clematis Street.
The 400-room Hilton features 24,000 sq. ft. of indoor meeting space and two outdoor event lawns. Guest will enjoy an expansive pool area that has a bar, as well as a fitness center, gift shop, recreation desk and lounge.
“The new Hilton West Palm Beach will be a significant tourism asset for The Palm Beaches,” says Jorge Pesquera, president and CEO for Discover The Palm Beaches. “Aside from its outstanding design and central location, it will be the only major hotel physically connected to a convention center in South Florida, and it’s sure to become a focal point within our vibrant convention, arts and entertainment district in West Palm Beach.”
The Westin Denver International Airport

The Westin Denver International Airport, which opened in November, is a key component of a new $600 million hotel and transit center. The Westin becomes one of the closest hotels to an airport terminal in the United States.
The Westin offers 519 guest rooms, including 35 suites. A state-of-the-art conference center has 37,000 sq. ft. of meeting space. Two ballrooms are expected to be very popular for events, with capacities of 850 and 700 for receptions and 600 and 450 for banquets. An open-air plaza can hold up to 3,200 for special events.
The Ritz-Carlton, Sarasota

Inspired by its Gulf of Mexico location and the nearby home of circus king John Ringling, The Ritz completed a multimillion-dollar renovation in November that features a refreshed lobby, makeover of all 266 guest rooms, new club level and lounge, and complete updates of the ballroom and meeting spaces. The 12,000-square-foot ballroom includes chandeliers that serve as interpretations of circus rings.
The Ritz has been named a top golf resort by Conde Nast Traveler, and its spa is highly regarded, as well. With 60,000 sq. ft. of indoor and outdoor event space, The Ritz is well-equipped for small meetings, large receptions and incentive travel.
