Aaron Zimmerman has joined the team at Embassy Suites by Hilton Landmark San Antonio, in Texas. He will hold the title of director of sales at the property. Following a successful career in the United States Army, Zimmerman has held positions at Interstate Hotels & Resorts, TM Hospitality and Raymond Management Company.
Steve Mannik
Attitash Grand Summit Owners Association announced Steven Mannik as general manager of Grand Summit Hotel at Attitash, in Bartlett, New Hampshire. Mannik began his hospitality career as a sales manager for Homewood Suites hotel in Kissimmee, Florida. He most recently was general manager of Eastern Inn & Suites in North Conway. Previous to that, he held the position of general manager of the Grand Summit.
Joe Velasquez
Chateau Elan Winery & Resort in Braselton, Georgia, has appointed Joe Velasquez to its executive team as director of sales and marketing. He will be responsible for planning and executing the Braselton icon’s sales, marketing and product development strategies, as well as managing the sales staff. His experience over the last two decades includes working at Fairmont Scottsdale Princess in Arizona and The Ritz-Carlton, Kapalua in Maui, Hawaii. He most recently served as director of sales at the Venetian in Las Vegas.
Lisa Martinez
Joining as conference services manager at Kimpton Solamar Hotel in San Diego is Lisa Martinez, where she will be responsible for event operations and overseeing the citywide room blocks. She was convention services manager at Town & Country San Diego, where she executed events and managed budgets and forecasting. She has also held the positions of sales system analyst at Hard Rock Hotel San Diego and business development coordinator at Hilton San Diego Bayfront.
Eileen Cole
Eileen S. Cole will fill the role of director of sales and marketing for Eaglewood Resort & Spa, a Benchmark Resorts & Hotels in Chicago, Illinois. With three decades of sales experience, Cole most recently was vice president of sales and marketing for The Bricton Group of Mt. Prospect, Illinois, where she was responsible for increasing hotel and resort revenues. Previously, she held the position of director of sales and marketing for the Chicago Marriott Southwest at Burr Ridge.
