To do so, she will utilize her customer-centric attitude and impressive leadership skills.
Pascal Dupuis
Hyatt Regency Lake Tahoe Resort, Spa and Casino welcomes Dupuis as general manager. He will oversee the resort’s daily operations across 422 rooms, 65,000 sq. ft. of functional meeting space, multiple onsite restaurants and their Stillwater Spa. His most recent experience is his role at Andaz Mayakoba in Riviera Maya, Mexico.
Bob Jensch
As the new managing Director of Margaritaville Resort Lake Tahoe, Jensch will oversee the property through its opening in winter 2023 and beyond. He will lead all of the resort’s operational aspects and zone in on delivering guest satisfaction, creating a positive work environment and enhancing operational efficiencies. He formerly served as vice president of operations at Davidson Resorts.
Danielle Gilligan
Gilligan joins The Westin Tempe as general manager. She has over 25 years of experience in operations, sales and event planning across markets and brands, including Loews Hotels, Hilton and Marriott. She most recently worked as general manager of Hotel Colonnade Coral Gables, Autograph Collection.
Joycie Lewis
The Opus, Westchester appoints Lewis as spa director of The Opus Spa. She will oversee and uphold the spa’s quality daily operations and will lead programming development. In her career, she has spent over 18 years as a spa business owner and 12 working with luxury brands like St. Regis Hotels and Greenhouse Spas. She most recently worked for over a decade as director of Agora Spa operations at the Stamford Marriott Hotel and Spa, eventually becoming owner.
Dayna Robins
Robins is appointed as director of global sales – West region at Associated Luxury Hotels International (ALHI). She brings over 20 years of experience working with luxury resorts, and with it, expertise in client retention, revenue optimization and collaborative work. She has worked at numerous ALHI member hotels, making her well-prepared to join ALHI’s GSO team.
Jeanine Conforti
The Riverhouse on the Deschutes, in Bend, Oregon, welcomes Conforti as director of sales and marketing. She will support their current renovation and rebranding efforts, bringing her strong leadership and reputation for surpassing sales goals with performance-driven sales teams. She most recently worked in wellness marketing at Canyon Ranch in Woodside, California, overseeing their own brand transition.
Tim Norman
Norman returns to Grand Traverse Resort and Spa in Michigan as general manager after time as general manager of Westin La Paloma and later Cherry Valley Hotel and Ohio Event Center, as well as a period building a senior living resort in St. George, Utah. In his career, he has worked in hospitality for over 30 years in locations across the U.S. and holds a degree in hotel & restaurant management from Virginia Tech.
Tom Riley and Javier de Villanueva Baygual
Riley joins Banyan Tree Group as senior executive director, acquisitions and development for the Americas. He has held leadership positions at leading hospitality companies such as Marriott International, Hilton Worldwide and Remington. Over his 17 year tenure at Kimpton Hotels and Restaurants, he was a key player in expanding the company’s portfolio throughout the Eastern U.S., Caribbean and Latin America. He holds an MBA from Palm Beach Atlantic University.
Banyan Tree Group appoints de Villanueva Baygual as business development director for Europe. With an Executive MBA from IESE Business School and over 12 years in Europe’s hotel industry, he has a comprehensive skill set to spearhead the group’s strategic growth initiatives. His consultancy background and network with European hotel investors will be key to this goal. Recently, he made the enormous accomplishment of securing ten properties for IHG Hotels.
Andre Priemer
In his new role as managing director at Everline Resort & Spa, Priemer will oversee the 405-room resort’s daily operations across 47,000 sq. ft. of meeting and event space, their onsite spa, championship golf course and numerous onsite restaurants. He will work to lead his team in providing guests with a world-class experience at the spacious Lake Tahoe mountain resort.
