Kimpton Solamar Hotel in San Diego has promoted Becker to associate director of sales. She joined the Kimpton Solamar team in 2016 as group sales manager. Becker held sales positions at various properties prior to Kimpton, including Embassy Suites San Diego Downtown and Residence Inn & Springhill Suites by Marriott.
Christine Imbrogno
Imbrogno is the director of sales and marketing at Lakota Hotels & Resorts, based in Norwalk, Connecticut. Before Lakota, Imbrogno was in sales and marketing at Doral Arrowwood in Westchester County, New York. She joined the hospitality sector in 1996 as sales coordinator when the facility was the GTE Management Development Center.
Nichole Cooper
Cooper has returned to The Allison, in Willamette Valley, Oregon, as director of sales. Previously, she served as group sales and catering manager. In her 13 years of hospitality experience, Cooper has worked with Sunriver Resort in Sunriver, Oregon, as well as Marriott and Hilton properties.
Frank Cavella
Conrad Fort Lauderdale Beach in Fort Lauderdale, Florida has named Cavella director of sales and marketing. He comes from 14 years with Naples Grand Beach Resort in Naples, Florida. Cavella spent 11 years with The Ritz-Carlton brand before that, where he served as regional vice president of sales and marketing for Florida and the Caribbean, as well as corporate director of sales, in which he launched 13 properties.
Kapil Sharma
Sharma has been appointed general manager of Malliouhana in Anguilla. Prior to this move, Sharma served as hotel manager with Marriott International Hotels and Resorts, where he managed various properties, including Marriott Marquis Washington, D.C. and The Ritz-Carlton, Grand Cayman in the Cayman Islands.
Marina Aslanidou
Recently opened The Whitney Hotel in Boston has appointed Aslanidou general manager. She was most recently the director of sales for Grace Hotels North America, where she planned marketing campaigns for all Grace Hotel properties. Prior to that, she held positions as general manager at Grace Vanderbilt Hotel in Newport, Rhode Island, as well as reservation manager and assistant hotel manager at Grace Mykonos Hotels in Mykonos, Greece.
David Beckett
Beckett is the senior vice president of professional services at Eventcore. He joined the team in an advisory role in 2018. He comes from position managing client services and operations at Experient, where he worked for 17 years.
