Jennifer C. Squeglia, CMP, owner of RLC Events (RLC are the initials of her late father – Robert Lee Colburn), has the privilege to partner with clients from the financial and insurance industries, as well as defense and health care. Jennifer’s career started in the hospitality industry nearly 35 years ago, specializing in operations, catering and conference services. She transitioned to Boston in 1999 working on the great planning teams at John Hancock and Fidelity Investments.

Michael S. Burke, CMP, is director of conference and travel services with The Hanover.  He is directly responsible for managing the planning process and coordinating logistics for a broad range of meeting and travel programs including agent events, sales training, home office employee events, community events and annual sales incentive conferences. Michael oversees a department handling approximately 135 annual meetings/events. Previous to his current role, he worked in the hotel industry for nine years with a combination of food and beverage, room operations sales and revenue manager experience. He is a board member for Big Brothers/Big Sisters of Central MA/Metro West, and signature event program chair, co-chair of the Burke Memorial Scholarship Committee and multiple year nominee for Hanover Insurance President’s Service Award. Michael earned his bachelor’s degree in business administration from Roger Williams College and earned his CMP (Certified Meeting Professional) designation from the Convention Industry Council in 2003.

Steve Bova, CAE, is the executive director of FICP, a professional association of meetings professionals working in the insurance and financial services sector. He is responsible to the board of directors for executing the association’s strategic plan, leading the day-to-day operations of the association and its staff team, and ensuring the organization’s long-term viability. Prior to joining FICP in 2004, Steve served as executive director of the Warehousing Education and Research Council in Oak Brook, Illinois, where he was responsible for the organization’s strategic turnaround. He also held senior level positions with the Depression and Bipolar Support Alliance and the Association Forum of Chicagoland – a professional society for association executives. He earned his bachelor’s degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, is a graduate of the U.S. Chamber’s Institutes for Organization Management at the University of Notre Dame, holds the Certified Association Executive designation and is a graduate of Smith Bucklin’s Leadership Learning Forum.
