Investment Advances Plans for Sahara Casino Redevelopment
A developer with plans to reopen and renovate the shuttered Sahara Hotel & Casino at the north end of Las Vegas’ Strip has secured a $300 million investment for the project. SBE Entertainment Group LLC of Los Angeles will rebrand the iconic casino as part of its SLS Hotels chain. Plans for the SLS Las Vegas resort include 1,600 guest rooms, high-end restaurants and 40,000 sq. ft. of meeting space. bloomberg.com
